Muhurat dates are published by the Hindu calendar 6+ months in advance and concentrate the wedding season into a small set of days. Catering bookings, banquet halls, and adjacent restaurant catchments swing dramatically. Most Indian weddings happen on ~80–120 muhurat days a year.
